301. Samuel #797⁹ Denison (Daniel Jr #282⁸, Daniel #84⁷, George #30⁶, John Borodell #4⁵, George #1⁴, William³, John², Bishop¹) was born October 24, 1774.⁽³⁹⁾ Samuel died December 11, 1849 at 75 years of age. His body was interred in Floyd, Ny.⁽⁴⁰⁾

He married twice. He married Rhoda Crandall January 13, 1802.⁽⁴¹⁾ Rhoda died February 18, 1817. Rhoda became the mother of Sarah C Denison June 22, 1800. Rhoda became the mother of Pamelia B Denison October 26, 1802. Rhoda became the mother of Alvin Denison July 8, 1804. Rhoda became the mother of Catharine Denison November 19, 1805. Rhoda became the mother of Alson Denison August 12, 1807. Rhoda became the mother of Alexander H Denison June 23, 1811. Rhoda became the mother of Alson Denison February 3, 1813. Rhoda became the mother of Lucy Denison February 27, 1815. Rhoda became the mother of Child Denison 1817. He married Nancy Burlingame December 28, 1817.⁽⁴²⁾ Nancy was born March 3, 1798. Nancy died December 24, 1884 at 86 years of age. At 20 years of age Nancy became the mother of George B Denison February 13, 1819. At 24 years of age Nancy became the mother of Charles M Denison April 3, 1822. At 25 years of age Nancy became the mother of Daniel A Denison February 7, 1824. At 28 years of age Nancy became the mother of Rhoda Denison March 15, 1826.⁽⁴³⁾ At 29 years of age Nancy became the mother of Ellery Denison December 22, 1827. At 32 years of age Nancy became the mother of Lydia E Denison April 28, 1830. At 34 years of age Nancy became the mother of Clarissa E Denison June 25, 1832.

At 25 years of age Samuel became the father of Sarah C Denison June 22, 1800. At 28 years of age Samuel became the father of Pamelia B Denison October 26, 1802. At 29 years of age Samuel became the father of Alvin Denison July 8, 1804. At 31 years of age Samuel became the father of Catharine Denison November 19, 1805. At 32 years of age Samuel became the father of Alson Denison August 12, 1807. At 36 years of age Samuel became the father of Alexander H Denison June 23, 1811. At 38 years of age Samuel became the father of Alson Denison February 3, 1813. At 40 years of age Samuel became the father of Lucy Denison February 27, 1815. At 42 years of age Samuel became the father of Child Denison 1817. At 44 years of age Samuel became the father of George B Denison February 13, 1819. At 47 years of age Samuel became the father of Charles M Denison April 3, 1822. At 49 years of age Samuel became the father of Daniel A Denison February 7, 1824. At 51 years of age Samuel became the father of Rhoda Denison March 15, 1826.⁽⁴⁴⁾ At 53 years of age Samuel became the father of Ellery Denison December 22, 1827. At 55 years of age Samuel became the father of Lydia E Denison April 28, 1830. At 57 years of age Samuel became the father of Clarissa E Denison June 25, 1832. intense anguish for several weeks and finally had it amputated above the knee joint by Dr White of Cooperstown, the nearest surgeon capable of performing such a procedure. He traveled on horseback through the wilderness seventy-four miles from Cooperstown to Floyd, NY. His wife died shortly after the amputation of his leg leaving seven children to care for the oldest not over 17.

400 iv. Catharine Denison was born November 19, 1805.

401 v. Alson Denison was born August 12, 1807. Alson died November 19, 1808 at 1 year of age.

402 vi. Alexander H Denison was born June 23, 1811.

403 vii. Alson Denison was born February 3, 1813.

404 viii. Lucy Denison was born February 27, 1815. Lucy died March 8, 1853 at 38 years of age.

405 ix. Child Denison was born 1817. Child died 1817 at less than one year of age.

Samuel #797 Denison and Nancy Burlingame had the following children:

407 xi. Charles M Denison was born April 3, 1822.

408 xii. Daniel A Denison was born February 7, 1824. Daniel died February 1, 1838 at 13 years of age.
